I took these photos of the Total Solar Eclipse on in Erie County, Pennsylvania.

This was my first total solar eclipse. I previously saw a partial solar eclipse (about 95%) in 2017. Also, an annular solar eclipse in 1994.

Protect Your Eyes 👀

Never look directly at the Sun without proper eye protection, such as eclipse glasses or a solar filter. Looking directly at the Sun can cause permanent eye damage or blindness. For casual viewing, use eclipse glasses that meet the ISO 12312-2 international safety standard.

Dedicated solar binoculars with built-in filters are also a good option for eclipses and sunspot viewing. I highly recommend these Celestron solar binoculars, available on Amazon:
